In January 2014, I purchased a Refurbished 11.6-inch MacBookAir 1.3GHz dual-core Intel Core i5.
In April 2014, I obtained a new Florida "In God We Trust" ham radio license plate (pictured left).
In August 2014, I decided to sell my Yaesu FT840, as well as some podcast gear, and get a new radio. I found a sweet Drake TR5 in MINT condition today and plunked down the money for it. It is my understanding that only around 500 of these babies were manufactured! Mine was manufactured in March or April 1982.
In September 2014, I added the RV7 Remote VFO, MN7 Matching Network, MS7 Speaker (pictured left) and the Astatic Night Eagle microphone. You can see the Mac Mini, which I used to run the new Hamsphere 4.0 (Windows version) with a WINE emulator. Hamsphere 4.0 is a much improved version of the Hamsphere 3.0, which I discontinued using. It includes virtual propagation based on sunspot information. In October 2014, the Island Hunters ARC (KV4V) got a Hamsphere account. The QSL card is picture left.
