During the summer of 2011, I decided to sell off my entire HF station, which included the Yaesu FT101ZD and accessories that I owned for over 30 years. I had begun podcasting and create the ReformedCast podcast in 2010, and sine I already had a Heil PR40 microphone for the best quality audio, it could be used for double-duty. I sold all of the old Yaesu equipment on Ebay, and purchased a Yaesu FT-840 with an external DC power supply. Also, I purchased the K8RA P-1 Iambic Paddle (pictured left), along with an external MFJ Memory Keyer. Additionally, I picked up an old Ten-Tec Century 21 for the Island Hunters Club station (pictured right).

On October 18, 2011, Island Hunters ARC changed its callsign to AJ1Q.
