On January 5, 1979, I was issued my first amateur radio license.....Novice callsign KA1CCA. This month I celebrate 40 years as a ham! Just in time for the occasion, on January 7, 2019, I got my first outside antenna for the Florida location.....an MFJ-1780X "Box Fan" Magnetic Loop, purchased on sale from DX Engineering.
It is not built to permanently installed.....so I made a window feedthrough out of some spare floor tiles, cut a notch in the center for the RG8X coax to pass through, and voila!
