In January 1991, I got back on digital modes once again. I picked up an AEA PK-232MBX multi-mode controller for $320 (right). That same month, I picked up some software for digital modes called Aries 1, an MS-DOS program, which I used primarily for AMTOR.

In July 1991, I picked up a color frame grabber called ComputerEyes RT, an upgrade from my previous B&W grabber.

In September 1991, I picked up the Ameco PT-2 Receive Preamplifier.

I worked many, many new islands towards my Islands-On-the-Air (I.O.T.A.) award.

During 1991, I worked 9 new countries for DXCC.
